G.A.S.

G.A.S. or General Academic is one of the Strands in K-12 curriculum that was established by president Benigno Simeon Aquino III. Students that cannot make up their minds about which of the other three strand under the academic track (ABM, HUMSS, STEM)

The GAS strand aims to develop the skills and competencies involved in the previous strands to prepare the student for tertiary education. Selected specialization courses from the ABM, STEM and HUMSS are taken under this strand. Students are also expected to come up with a research paper and undergo work immersion for the application of knowledge and skills acquired in class.
